What is the application process for the 3-year retreat?

To apply you first submit an Application with references, then schedule a 50-minute interview. Additionally, we are planning to offer a month-long preparatory retreat 1 year before the retreat begins. Whilst this is not required it is strongly encouraged.

When will the retreat begin?

The retreat is tentatively set to begin in the fall of 2028 and will last for 3 years, 3 months, and 3 days. Exact dates will be announced closer to the time.

Who will be leading the retreat?

Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche: Main Retreat Master

• Mingyur Rinpoche will be onsite approximately 1 month per year to provide the empowerments, initial teachings and pith instructions.

Khenpo Kunga (tentative): Drupon (Retreat Master)

• Khenpo Kunga will be onsite approximately 3 months per year to provide detailed teachings for the retreat.

Tsunma Kunsang Palmo: Assistant Retreat Master

• Kunsang will be onsite full time to support the retreat.
